About Us

Wisconsin Bike Patrol

Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Provider

All volunteer non-profit

On March 14, 2013, the Wisconsin Bike Patrol became a federal 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with public charity status. We operate as a special events emergency medical service (EMS) provider, specializing in medical first response on bikes. Our team consists of volunteer medical professionals who are passionate about assisting athletes in need during outdoor sporting events, such as mountain bike or road bike races, marathons, triathlons, and more.

Our bike-mobile patrollers are specially trained to handle medical emergencies that may arise at these events. We also maintain off-road rescue units to evacuate injured individuals from remote back-country areas when necessary.

What We Do

We continually expand our team by onboarding skilled medical professionals, deliver comprehensive medical training, provide on-site services at race events, and prioritize the well-being of our people and equipment.
